B Is for Better Than Motocross
BMX is an abbreviation for bicycle motocross – motocross being the stunt-filled, dirtbike-fueled sport that's popular in stadiums and super obstacle courses and specially lanscaped rough and rocky terrain. Take away the engine, and you'd got BMX. The sport started in California in the 1970s, about 70 years after its motorized cousin started making appearences in competitions across the pond in the UK, and has since spread all over the world. Of course it's changed a lot from its early days, with specialized bikes being developed to take the serious beating the sport brings on.
The sport is seriously badass and all kinds of awesome, but IRL (in real life, if you aren't in on the virtual lingo) it's seriously dangerous, too. Which is why we've got a full category of games where you can catch all the awesome air, pulling off top speeds and amazing, jaw-dropping stunts you could never manage in real life – not without some broken bones, at least. The only thing you risk breaking in these online games is your last top score.
We've got all the BMX games your stunt-happy heart could desire. From classic BMX racing games like Bicycle Drag to extra-stunt-filled BMX tricks racing, as in Stick BMX Challenge and Leap on Rock. (Um, ouch? Or rather, since it's online – bring on the virtual bruises!)
Got some BMX tricks up your sleeve? (Of the online variety, at least?) Then break out your sports freestyle bike action and engage in some BMX freestyle in BMX Master or other BMX bike games and BMX sports games like BMX Ramp and BMX Extreme.
Are you ready for some awesome bike action? We've got your metal steed waiting to take you on your next adrenaline rush.
